• 27 March 2009: Promise Innovation announces collaboration with The Open Group with a special event PROMISE at The Open Group London Conference 29th April 2009.

  The concepts of “Item Attendant ICT” and “the Internet of Things” are a reality, allowing items to be networked and able to communicate information about themselves to other items and computer systems on a global and commercial scale. Open architecture extensions and standards will be required in order to provide a secure and flexible infrastructure for their information exchange. “The Internet of Things” will affect your business. • 1 December 2008: Promise Innovation launches www.CL₂M.com Beta- 'THE information exchange for closed loop lifecycle management'
  CL₂M.com is THE focal point for any person interested in lifecycle information exchange. It offers collaborative tools such as forums, blogs and a wiki.  From January 2009 technology and service providers will able to introduce their companies at no cost and participate in building the international community. A calendar allows you to propose and find events well in advance for planning purposes.

• 13 October 2008: Tekes recognises Promise Innovation as a valuable partner for DPP projects
  The Digital Product Process programme, initiated by Tekes in 2008, boosts the competitiveness of companies with better use of information technology in product processes. By applying PROMISE Concepts companies are able to improve sustainable competitive advantage through products and services whilst better meeting regulatory compliance.

• 2 July 2008: PROMISE demonstrated successfully in Athens
  10 different applications of Closed Loop Lifecycle Management were successfully demonstrated in Athens at a public event jointly hosted by INTRACOM and Promise Innovation to mark the end of the 42 month PROMISE Project..
  The 14.2 Million Euro investment was heralded as an example of successful investment strategy by the EU Project Officer Arian Zwegers.
